About

I am Ruoyan Wang, a PhD candidate in the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Southern California.

My research focuses on temporal changes in the deep Earth, including inner core dynamics, mantle processes, crustal stress evolution, repeating earthquakes, and scattered wavefields.

I started my PhD at USC in 2022 and expect to graduate in 2027. I am advised by John Vidale (USC) and Daoyuan Sun (USTC).
